So I got a problem, my desktop isn't working at all, when I turn on the computer these messages show up
Safe mode
Safe mode with networking
start windows normally

and a few others.. I've tried each one of them and it starts to work it gets on the windows xp loading screen with the loading bar then the blue screen pops up for half a second then the computer restarts. Any ideas on why this is happening and how to fix it?


**Got it fixed, just had to reinstall windows, thanks for the help :)

sounds like you got problems when your pc boots, maybe wipe / reinstall your OS

Hi Slayer

If you have a windows cd that you use for installing put it in teh drive
Start pc and select the repair feature
This will check all teh windows files for you and reinstall anything that is needed

You can also read what it says on the blue screen at top
This will give an indication as to what is wrong

If all else fails you may need to reinstall windows again

Ok cool thanks for the reply's , ill try putting the windows cd in, hopefully it works and I wont have to reinstall windows.
