Members can also broadcast their own tunes to it for everyone to listen to. It requires only 16-20kbs of upload speed to stream.
Software is available for members to use to stream with setup instructions below - SAM 4 Broadcaster. (12mb)

Install SAM 4, key is also included. Install Firebird database when requested to.
Have a play with SAM 4, add your media directories and load songs into the queue.

At the top of the SAM you will see desktop A,B,C
Goto desktop B, on Statistic Relays click + and select Shoutcast Statistic Relay
Host = 69.197.152.222 Port = 8700 Password = g4m1ng
tick private statistic relay. End of part 1

On Encoder click + and select mp3 normal, quality : fast resampling, 128kbs 48khz stereo
Click on Server Details tab and pick Shoutcast, Host = 69.197.152.222, Port = 8702, Password = dj:noise
Bottom right of Server details you will see $combine$ leave a space and then put you name eg $combine$ Davetheblue, click OK End of Part 2

Right your ready to broadcast - pick some songs, start playing, then goto desktop B,
on Encoders select the one you just put in and click Start, to finish click Stop.

In IRC, the Radio-Bot can tell people what's playing etc. type !help for commands

nice one dave. ive got the broadcaster set up and if anyone wants any rock or electronica broadcasted like Linkin Park, Muse or Pendulum etc give me a shout and ill start broadcasting. Also, you can play the radio on itunes if you set it to your default media player.
EDIT: I will now be broadcasting Rock and other stuff from 9.30 on a day time until someone else broadcasts :L. Artists on my queue include Jay-Z and Linkin Park, AC DC, BLink 182, Pendulum, Coldplay, Muse,Kings of Leon. Nickelback,Eminem and Theory of a Deadman. Dave's got some good stuff broadcasting too like leona lewis and florence and the machine. Have a listen!! Oh yeah, and if you have anything you want me to put on my playlist or dave, let us know :)

You could do with being in IRC, that way you can sort out when people are going to jump off. I dont really want to put it in a timetable, its really just for people who have spare time to jump on. The bot also announces listener counts and what your playing, so come on jump in the channel
